I think modern children books should contain light-hearted,yet thought-provoking,wisdom filled, profound tales and poems.
Just so they teach the kids from early age about LIFE.
Because at school they learn all about complicated stuff-physics,math,biology,computers,yet nobody teaches a simple Life lessons.
Or how to love.
Or what matters.
So if I had to compile a school book for teaching Life to our future, this would be the first and most important entry.
Here is # 1 lesson from Easybreazy Imaginary Children Book of LIfe Lessons.
Girl listening to ”The voice”
I don’t know who wrote this,but I co-sign.Wholeheartedly.
Dare to be determined,
To step ahead by your own free will.
Dare to be assertive,
To trust yourself even if you’re wrong.
Dare to release yourself,
From all the assumptions you made before.
Dare to show effort,
Outside of the effort of stressing yourself.
Dare to have confidence,
Dare to think you’re worth it,
Dare to think that someone cares,
Dare to make a decision.
Dare to say you’re moving on,
Dare to say you’re moving in,
Dare to not back out again,
Dare to risk us or anything else.
Take a step,
One step out of a hole,
A hole that you’ve been digging for months,
When evening comes the shadows grow, as the sun begins to set.
Take care that you don’t come to know, a thing that’s called regret.
Not what you try or what you do, throughout a carefree youth.
It’s what you don’t you’ll come to rue, when time reveals it’s truth.
There is wisdom to be had from mistaken words and acts.
You’ll find that failure’s not so bad, it strengthens you in fact.
Rejection’s fear or the fear of failure, that paralizes you.
Is the stuff of tears and that which keeps you dreams from coming true.
It takes a certain kind of nerve to tell someone you care.
But then nature tends to serve the person who would dare.
Bravery isn’t something you can cultivate from seed.
It must be conjured up anew each time that there’s a need.
So take these words and hold them close, it’s certain you’ll find that,
one second of courage to speak from the heart will result in you hearing them back.

P.S. And that was the diurnalis poem (the daily poem, the poem of the day)
My new favorite word -diurnalis-from latin -daily
by Shel Silverstein
There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.
Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black
And the dark street winds and bends.
Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow
We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And watch where the chalk-white arrows go
To the place where the sidewalk ends.
Yes we’ll walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And we’ll go where the chalk-white arrows go,
For the children, they mark, and the children, they know
The place where the sidewalk ends.
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
Here is something to cleanse the palate after all my poop posts.
The Road Not Taken
by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
It excites me to sparkle away!
Like a beacon,with
Bling during the day
so -what-if -it’s monday sashay
In the uniformed sea of gray,
Beige,navy-blue,black, brown array
Adidas tracksuits, jeans, sneakers and crocks
Playing it ”cool-man’’around the blocks.
Fake Louis Vuitton and a fleece,
Ugh boots and logos and ugliness-
Logos and logos,conformity streets.
Nothingness showin’g through.
No further ado
