Or some things never get old or outdated.
Abraham Lincoln is one of them.
Along with his face, they should put this quote of him of
on the back of the 5 dollar bill…Or in every school…
So inspiring.And true…
And written centuries ago…
But that’s the magic of the genius…Timelesness…
My son will have to learn I know that all men are not just, all men are not true. But teach him also that for ever scoundrel there is a hero; that for every selfish politician, there is a dedicated leader. Teach him that for every enemy there is a friend.
It will take time, I know; but teach him, if you can, that a dollar earned is far more valuable than five found.
Teach him to learn to lose and also to enjoy winning.
Steer him away from envy, if you can.
Teach him the secret of quite laughter. Let him learn early that the bullies are the easiest to tick.
Teach him, if you can, the wonder of books.. but also give him quiet time to ponder over the eternal mystery of birds in the sky, bees in the sun, and flowers on a green hill –side.
In school teach him it is far more honourable to fail than to cheat.
Teach him to have faith in his own ideas, even if every one tells him they are wrong.
Teach him to be gentle with gentle people and tough with the tough.
Try to give my son the strength not to follow the crowd when every one is getting on the bandwagon.
Teach him to listen to all men but teach him also to filter all he hears on a screen of truth and take only the good that comes through.
Teach him, if you can, how to laugh when he is sad. Teach him there is no shame in tears. Teach him to scoff at cynics and to beware of too much sweetness.
Teach him to sell his brawn and brain to the highest bidders; but never to put a price tag on his heart and soul.
Teach him to close his ears to a howling mob… and to stand and fight if he thinks he’s right.
Treat him gently; but do not cuddle him because only the test of fire makes fine steel.
Let him have the courage to be impatient, let him have the patience to be brave. Teach him always to have sublime faith in himself because then he will always have sublime faith in mankind.
This is a big order; but see what you can do. He is such a fine little fellow, my son.”
Abraham Lincoln letter to his son’s teacher.
Or this is what I wanna be when I grow old.
Mysterious grandma just walks into a drum shop and stuns the shop owners with her killer drumming skills.

“There’s a crack, a crack in everything, that’s how the LIGHT gets in” – Leonard Cohen
Beauty with cracks
Your cracks (imperfections) make you BEAUTIFUL.
Remember that today.

Embrace the cracks.
It seems that books does grow on trees. At least in that local store. In a form of colorful butterfly’s, spreading their knowledge and wisdom.Or just fluttering and sitting pretty on top of that tree.
Book grows on tree
Here is story straight from that knowledge tree
The story of the butterfly
A man found a cocoon of a butterfly.
One day a small opening appeared.
He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours
as it struggled to squeeze its body through the tiny hole.
Then it stopped, as if it couldn’t go further. So the man decided to help the butterfly.
He took a pair of scissors and
snipped off the remaining bits of cocoon.
The butterfly emerged easily but
it had a swollen body and shriveled wings. The man continued to watch it,
expecting that any minute the wings would enlarge
and expand enough to support the body,
In fact the butterfly spent the rest of its life
It was never able to fly. What the man in his kindness
and haste did not understand:
The restricting cocoon and the struggle
required by the butterfly to get through the opening
was a way of forcing the fluid from the body
into the wings so that it would be ready
for flight once that was achieved.
Sometimes struggles are exactly
what we need in our lives.
Going through life with no obstacles would cripple us.
We will not be as strong as we could have been
and we would never fly.
So have a nice day and struggle a little and teach well.
Officially from my ”Blue Period” or creative process explained.First came the little sculpted painting of a blue dress on a hanger. Then old beaten up black chair appeared.Inspired by the barock and Miami colors, he got the Electric blue and teal treatment followed by ”gold” imprint.
Blue teal green gold hand painted chair
Already with a blue fever, I desided on monochrome blue outfit to complete my blue period.
To add contrast touch , I then created the bling-bling waist cincher with big stone and several small ones.
Electric blue outfit
Variation with scarf and a big stone necklace for different looks.
Electric blue outfit with one a of kind belt
For a colder days I added my ”sheep top”.Basically electric blue children top, worn as a short vest.
Long live the chain reactions who make the creative process creative!

In Holland every cat and dog has a bicycle (see pic 2),so you need to step up your game if you wanna get noticed among the sea of 2 wheelers.
Here are my recent HUH?! favorites
Made in Holland.Made of wood.Pretty good.
Doggie in a bicycle basket
A bike with a build -in-bike-alarm.Or rather bark-in-bike alarm.Looking menacing and tough too.
Pimped up bicycle
All pimped up and chromed up.
Aluminum foil wrapped bicycle
O.K. Chromed up is a bit of overstatement, but aluminum foil looks just like chrome in the right lightning.Or if you squint really hard.Bonus points for thoroughness though. No part was left out of the metal hug of the aluminum foil.
On yer bike!
A group of frogs were hopping contentedly through the woods, going about their froggy business, when two of them fell into a deep pit. All of the other frogs gathered around the pit to see what could be done to help their companions. When they saw how deep the pit was, they agreed that it was hopeless and told the two frogs in the pit that they should prepare themselves for their fate, because they were as good as dead.
Unwilling to accept this terrible fate, the two frogs began to jump with all of their might. Some of the frogs shouted into the pit that it was hopeless, and that the two frogs wouldn’t be in that situation if they had been more careful, more obedient to the froggy rules, and more responsible. The other frogs continued sorrowfully shouting that they should save their energy and give up, since they were already as good as dead.
The two frogs continued jumping with all their might, and after several hours of this, were quite weary. Finally, one of the frogs took heed to the calls of his fellow frogs. Exhausted, he quietly resolved himself to his fate, lay down at the bottom of the pit, and died.
The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could, although his body was wracked with pain and he was quite exhausted. Once again, his companions began yelling for him to accept his fate, stop the pain and just die. The weary frog jumped harder and harder and, wonder of wonders, finally leaped so high that he sprang from the pit.
Amazed, the other frogs celebrated his freedom and then gathering around him asked, “Why did you continue jumping when we told you it was impossible?”
The astonished frog explained to them that he was deaf, and as he saw their gestures and shouting, he thought they were cheering him on. What he had perceived as encouragement inspired him to try harder and to succeed against all odds.
The deaf frog wisdom
“There is death and life in the power of the tongue”. Your encouraging words can lift someone up and help them make it through the day. Your destructive words can cause deep wounds; they may be the weapons that destroy someone’s desire to continue trying – or even their life. Your destructive, careless word can diminish someone in the eyes of others, destroy their influence and have a lasting impact on the way others respond to them. Be careful what you say.
Speak life to (and about) those who cross your path. There is enormous power in words. If you have words of kindness, praise or encouragement – speak them now to, and about, others. Listen to your heart and respond. Someone, somewhere, is waiting for your words…
Dare to be determined,
To step ahead by your own free will.
Dare to be assertive,
To trust yourself even if you’re wrong.
Dare to release yourself,
From all the assumptions you made before.
Dare to show effort,
Outside of the effort of stressing yourself.
Dare to have confidence,
Dare to think you’re worth it,
Dare to think that someone cares,
Dare to make a decision.
Dare to say you’re moving on,
Dare to say you’re moving in,
Dare to not back out again,
Dare to risk us or anything else.

A hole that you’ve been digging for months,
