Best blender,best price,best performance

You know the drill:
If you want a really really smooth green smoothie, you must shell pretty smooth chunk of green for brand names like Vitamix or Blendtec.
With prices around 400,500,600 and more,it can be off putting for any raw(or cooked)foodie.
But I found the way to have your raw cake, and eat it too.
After extensive research, googling, horse power comparing, square shape searching,I found this baby and preorder it prior to our house-moving trip to U.S.
First things first, so upon our arrival in December 2013, I got this monster of a blender.

Best blender

Best blender ever

I order it on the dumb luck, sheerly impressed by the stats of it(3HP),tamper,square jug-very important and might I add
It exceeded my expectations , and then some…
Miiighty fine piece of equipment.
So, so happy with it.Powerful to the bone, even without the help of a tamper, it crushes a frozen fruit(try frozen persimon-hard as a rock),nuts for secconds.I like my green creations(link here- http://wp.me/p2iumO-4Z )with no water added, so for any normal blender is a lot of work, if not impossible to smoothise just a fruit and greenery without the aid of liquid. Not with this Baby-Omni.Does the job right away.Absolute best performance, best price, huge value for the money.
Did I mention it was only 279 $.
And it get’s even better. Now on sale for 240 $!
AND free shipping!!
Thanks to the folks of 3blenders, who also give a great service and guarantee.

Take that Vitamix-Schmitamix and Blendtec-Schmendtec!!

Sciense dearest weekend

I am having a sci-overdose weekend, so here is another highly useful tidbit.

1557467_737201189634228_889466453_n

And I qualify. Apparently. Hm …With the rate I am being rejected from getting mundane 9 to 5 jobs, which comes with myriad of requirements I might have this Mars Mission thing as a plan B. It seem easier than getting an in-the-box-job, which always comes with the Think-outside-the-box-crap, can do attitude, and not-a -clock-watcher and team player bull shit excrement oxymoronic shit feces.
Moving on to even more deep science. Or here is where to find the smart people.

Californization , The Lakers and The Earthquake

Back in the days, when I was a kid , if the earthquake strike, people panic , grab quickly their most prized posesions and kids and cats and rushed on the street almost trampling each other in hurry to be the first out of the building, before it collapse and earth swallow us all  whole!!! And then for years to come everybody will reminiscent where were they at the Earthquake moment and make up stories and stuff…My , my how the times (O.k. and the continents ents) have changed…
Last night , while laying in bed with our laptops ( don’t judge) computing and stuff I felt some shaky-acky-breaky  movement and asked my husband if he is tapping with his feet , so the bed vibrates. His cool , calm and collected response was: ,,No, it’s just another earthquake,, and he continued his music composing activity…So did I , reassured that it’s nothing to worry about, since it’s our second quake, since we came here!! And yes , you can say our Californization is now complete…
Getting a Cali tan-check!

As I began to love myself by Charlie Chaplin or the daily poem

As I began to love myself” – A poem by Charlie Chaplin (arguably?),written on his 70th birthday on April 16, 1959:
As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering
are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth.
Today, I know, this is “AUTHENTICITY“.

As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody
as I try to force my desires on this person,
even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it,
and even though this person was me.
Today I call it “RESPECT“.

As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life,
and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow.
Today I call it “MATURITY“.

As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance,
I am in the right place at the right time,
and everything happens at the exactly right moment.
So I could be calm.
Today I call it “SELF-CONFIDENCE“.

As I began to love myself I quit stealing my own time,
and I stopped designing huge projects for the future.
Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness,
things I love to do and that make my heart cheer,
and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm.
Today I call it “SIMPLICITY“.

As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for
my health -food, people, things, situations, and everything the drew me down
and away from myself.
At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism.
Today I know it is “LOVE OF ONESELF“.

As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right,
and ever since I was wrong less of the time.
Today I discovered that is “MODESTY“.

As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past
and worry about the future.
Now, I only live for the moment, where everything is happening.
Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it “FULFILLMENT“.

As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me
and it can make me sick.
But as I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally.
Today I call this connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART“.

We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or
any kind of problems with ourselves or others.
Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born…THAT IS LIFE!

Life is good again. If only I should not have to wash alllll  the dishes….

Ain’t that the truth daily truth dose

I just looove this story from the Internets:

“Being Green
Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the older woman, that she should bring her own grocery bags because plastic bags weren’t good for the environment.
The woman apologized and explained,
“We didn’t have this green thing back in my earlier days.”
The young clerk responded, “That’s our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations.”
She was right — our generation didn’t have the green thing in its day.
Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were truely recycled.
But we didn’t have the green thing back in our day.
Grocery stores bagged our groceries in brown paper bags, that we reused for numerous things, most memorable besides household garbage bags, was the use of brown paper bags as book covers for our schoolbooks. This was to ensure that public property, (the books provided for our use by the school) was not defaced by our scribblings. Then we were able to personalize our books on the brown paper bags.
But too bad we didn’t do the green thing back then.
We walked up stairs, because we didn’t have an escalator in every store and office building. We walked to the grocery store and didn’t climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time we had to go two blocks.
But she was right. We didn’t have the green thing in our day.
Back then, we washed the baby’s diapers because we didn’t have the throwaway kind. We dried clothes on a line, not in an energy-gobbling machine burning up 220 volts — wind and solar power really did dry our clothes back in our early days. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing.
But that young lady is right; we didn’t have the green thing back in our day.
Back then, we had one TV, or radio, in the house — not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief (remember them?), not a screen the size of the state of Montana. In the kitchen, we blended and stirred by hand because we didn’t have electric machines to do everything for us. When we packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, we used wadded up old newspapers to cushion it, not Styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, we didn’t fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. We used a push mower that ran on human power. We exercised by working so we didn’t need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity.
But she’s right; we didn’t have the green thing back then.
We drank from a fountain when we were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time we had a drink of water. We refilled writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull.
But we didn’t have the green thing back then.
Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or walked instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service. We had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And we didn’t need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 23,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest burger joint.
But isn’t it sad the current generation laments how wasteful we old folks were just because we didn’t have the green thing back then?
Please forward this on to another selfish old person who needs a lesson in conservation from a smartass young person.
We don’t like being old in the first place, so it doesn’t take much to piss us off.”

Truth!

My New York fashion week gold and mermaid/petrolium peacock outfit

I wish! Just kidding, since I need something to cheer me up.I have a bad case of sewing- machine- attachment withdrawals.Due to it’s 220 V uncompatible-ness in US, I had to let this dear friend go,before me moved to Cali.So this outfit was in a way,it’s Swan song , before I heartlessly sold it to a stranger and  took cold hard cash (half price ) for it.I know.Harsh and heartless. It served me right all these years. And not a day went by without me using it(and cussing at it). I miss sewing soo much. But time will come…

92

As for time gone by, here is a blast form the past…

96

Velvet jacket-vintage.Originally I bought it as a long, heavy trench coat, but gave it the signature Easybreazy treatment-chop,crop,sew,re-sew and pimp, pimp, pimp it with a gold ornaments. The label on the jacket says made in West Germany, so it’s practically a piece of history (a real blast from the cold-war-era past), when Germany was divided by 2 parts-East and West Germany. And then there is The quality on that thing. UN-BE-LI-AVABLE! It really hurt when I had to defame it and cut all that heavy velvet with silk lining and perfect stitches…Whew!

98

The back side of the formerly trench coat became a ”mermaid tail” with lace.Or smocking jacket.Or something.

9

To complete the mermaid vibe,I added a petroleum sequinced collar to a black T with a slit in front.Petroleum bag-H&M.Vintage Ray Ban.Peacock hair piece.
Aand that was the” Gold-for-the-NY-cold-What-would-Easybreazy-wear” at NY fashion week look , haven I’ve been invited.
I play that game sometimes.Watching street photos from the Fashion week and think of the perfect, weather appropriate outfit.Dreaming…
Again-why wasn’t I invited?

Abraham Lincoln.Just because.

Or some things never get old or outdated.
Abraham Lincoln is one of them.
Along with his face, they should put this quote of him of
on the back of the 5 dollar bill…Or in every school…
So inspiring.And true…
And written centuries ago…
But that’s the magic of the genius…Timelesness…

”Respected Teacher,

My son will have to learn I know that all men are not just, all men are not true. But teach him also that for ever scoundrel there is a hero; that for every selfish politician, there is a dedicated leader. Teach him that for every enemy there is a friend.
It will take time, I know; but teach him, if you can, that a dollar earned is far more valuable than five found.
Teach him to learn to lose and also to enjoy winning.
Steer him away from envy, if you can.
Teach him the secret of quite laughter. Let him learn early that the bullies are the easiest to tick.
Teach him, if you can, the wonder of books.. but also give him quiet time to ponder over the eternal mystery of birds in the sky, bees in the sun, and flowers on a green hill –side.
In school teach him it is far more honourable to fail than to cheat.
Teach him to have faith in his own ideas, even if every one tells him they are wrong.
Teach him to be gentle with gentle people and tough with the tough.
Try to give my son the strength not to follow the crowd when every one is getting on the bandwagon.
Teach him to listen to all men but teach him also to filter all he hears on a screen of truth and take only the good that comes through.
Teach him, if you can, how to laugh when he is sad. Teach him there is no shame in tears. Teach him to scoff at cynics and to beware of too much sweetness.
Teach him to sell his brawn and brain to the highest bidders; but never to put a price tag on his heart and soul.
Teach him to close his ears to a howling mob… and to stand and fight if he thinks he’s right.
Treat him gently; but do not cuddle him because only the test of fire makes fine steel.
Let him have the courage to be impatient, let him have the patience to be brave. Teach him always to have sublime faith in himself because then he will always have sublime faith in mankind.
This is a big order; but see what you can do. He is such a fine little fellow, my son.”

Abraham Lincoln letter to his son’s teacher.
